Internship day 18, 6/7/24

Saturday at St. Mary's was an eventful day for interns, following a Wednesday timetable. The day began early with kitchen duty at 9:30 AM, giving us a taste of the various responsibilities teachers handle beyond the classroom.

During the third period, we had the opportunity to visit the 8L class. It was an insightful experience as we administered a test paper, observing how students approach assessments and manage their time.

The highlight of the day came during the sixth period with the 9Q class. We delved into the fascinating world of atomic structure, engaging the students with interactive activities and educational games. This hands-on approach seemed to spark curiosity and enhance understanding of this complex topic.

In the physics class, we covered units and measurement, a fundamental concept that forms the backbone of scientific study. It was rewarding to see students grappling with these essential principles.

Throughout the day, we moved between different subjects and age groups, from science topics like atomic structure and physics to the more practical aspects of school life. This variety gave us a well-rounded view of a teacher's daily experiences and challenges.

The internship day provided valuable insights into the diverse nature of teaching, combining academic instruction with practical duties, and showcasing the importance of adaptability in the education field.
