Internship day 9,24/6/2024
Internship Day 9 - June 24 at St. Mary's School
This morning I taught the Rutherford atomic model to students in class 9Q. To engage the students, I used a combination of methods:
1. Video presentation: Showed a short educational video explaining Rutherford's famous gold foil experiment and how it led to his atomic model.
2. Physical model: Demonstrated a 3D model of the Rutherford atom, highlighting the central nucleus and orbiting electrons.
3. Interactive activities: Conducted hands-on activities to help students visualize and understand the concept better.
The students seemed engaged and asked thoughtful questions throughout the lesson.
At 12:30, I reported for noon duty. My responsibilities included supervising students during lunch and serving food in the ootupura.
