St Johns - weekly review

Last week at St. John's School was both productive and festive. In Physics, I taught Class 8 about reflection. The lessons covered fundamental concepts such as the laws of reflection, the behavior of light, and practical applications like mirrors and lenses. Students engaged in hands-on activities to better understand how light interacts with surfaces.

In Chemistry, Class 9 continued their exploration of the Periodic Table. We reviewed the arrangement of elements, periodic trends such as atomic radius and electronegativity, and the significance of various groups and periods. The aim was to solidify their understanding of elemental properties and their role in chemical reactions.

Additionally, we celebrated Christmas as part of our school activities. The celebration included holiday-themed projects and activities that allowed students to embrace the festive spirit while still participating in educational experiences.
