St Johns weekly review

This week in Class 8, I was deeply involved in teaching a unit on magnetism. This task was both challenging and rewarding. I initially struggled with simplifying the concepts of magnetic fields and forces for my classmates, which was a bit frustrating. However, after discussing my approach with my teacher and receiving feedback, I felt more confident. I’m optimistic about improving my teaching techniques and deepening my understanding of magnetism in the coming week.

In Class 9 Chemistry, we continued our study of the periodic table. I was fascinated by how elements are organized and their various properties, though I occasionally felt overwhelmed by the details of [specific concept, e.g., periodic trends or electron configurations]. Completing the assignments helped reinforce my understanding, and I’m motivated to spend additional time reviewing these concepts to feel more prepared for future lessons.

Exploring the periodic table this week was enlightening. I enjoyed discovering how elements interact and how their properties can predict chemical behavior. This newfound knowledge is making the subject more engaging and relevant. I’m eager to apply these insights in upcoming experiments and lessons.

A match to enhance your spirt...

Today, at 2:30 pm, we got free hour and George sir asked us to play Cricket. Team captains were Krishnakumar and Anandu. Six were in a team and I belonged to Krishnakumar's team.We played in front of MTTC main block and had many special rules. We won toss and chose batting. Opening batswoman was Hida, she played well and gave good start to our team but got out soon after she hit four runs. Then Krishnakumar, Neeraj,Priyanka and I did batting. I also got an opportunity to hit four runs and after four overs, we completed batting with 17 runs and handed over batting to opposite team they also played well but their best players got out quickly and their batting ended up with 15 runs in four overs. Our joy knew no bounds when we won the match by two runs. Overall it was a fun filled match, all of us participated actively. Danspiration✌🏻 Danspiration is a dance program organised by our Maya miss. Here we learned different steps from bharatanadyam, steps were taught by Arathy. We all danced and vibed the feel of dancing. Dance requires an equal amount of cognitive focus as well as physical strength. The demanding yet evolving art-form allows individuals to express themselves creatively through movement, while enabling them to adapt movement that possesses ahythmical pattern and fluid motions that allure to an audience either onstage or on film.
