University Chess Championship
Half an hour of mysterious tricks ,traps ,moves to trap the enemy for a diplomatic win.
On 9/12/2022 we went to Neeramankara women's college for university chess championship. By 8 am we reached there, we had both men's and women's team. Competition started by 11 am after registration. Only 4 could play at a time. The game went well .We won the first match , later we had four more matches, had high competition with other teams ,by 3pm we were in fourth position.
One among our players from men's team got a chance to play with a blind guy,the game ,board, time limit everything was different ,though our team member lost the game ,it was a memorable, adorable game.
Last round was with Mar Ivanios college, we lost the match.
By 4pm we left the college
Though we lost the match ,we returned home with an inner satisfaction of being a good fighter.
Losing ... really does say something about who you are. Among other things it measures are: do you blame others, or do you own the loss? Do you analyze your failure, or just complain about bad luck? If you're willing to examine failure, and to look not just at your outward physical performance, but your internal workings, too, losing can be valuable. How you behave in those moments can perhaps be more self-defining than winning could ever be. Sometimes losing shows you for who you really are.
