Media Club inauguration

On Oct 13 Media club inaugration took place.C J Vahid Chengapally, Senior news reader in Doordarshan kendra was the cheif guest of the function and he officially inagurated the press club of Mar Theophilus Training College, ‘Theo press 2022’ at the college auditorium.He gave a tremendous speech, told about his memories related to doordashan. We got a good collection of nostalgic stories. After a span of time he started showing mimicry of various news reporters, which was very much fun. All of us enjoyed the same a lot. His dedication, sincerity, love towards profession was quiet understood from his speech, he asked us to be punctual in our work, all together his speech inspired and motivated us to be best out of what we were.

Rev Fr. Kayyalaykkal, college bursar spoke on the occasion and said that theo press is a platform for the students to update their knowledge and also to present their views on various issues.
K.Y Benedict, Principal of Mar Theophilus College presided over the function. College Tech wing co-ordinator Mr. Joju john thanked the gathering. The meeting was adjourned at 12.30 p.m

A match to enhance your spirt...

Today, at 2:30 pm, we got free hour and George sir asked us to play Cricket. Team captains were Krishnakumar and Anandu. Six were in a team and I belonged to Krishnakumar's team.We played in front of MTTC main block and had many special rules. We won toss and chose batting. Opening batswoman was Hida, she played well and gave good start to our team but got out soon after she hit four runs. Then Krishnakumar, Neeraj,Priyanka and I did batting. I also got an opportunity to hit four runs and after four overs, we completed batting with 17 runs and handed over batting to opposite team they also played well but their best players got out quickly and their batting ended up with 15 runs in four overs. Our joy knew no bounds when we won the match by two runs. Overall it was a fun filled match, all of us participated actively.
